Guide My Kid

Why I made this

Most kids want to be a famous sports player or singer. But when they apply for college, they will need to pick a major.

I'm a school teacher. My dad was a teacher, and his mom was a teacher. As parents, we often shape our children to follow in our footsteps, or we simply don't know what to recommend. That's especially true when they don't have the same interests we did as kids.

Most of us know the common paths, like doctor or lawyer. But every child is unique and deserves options.

Parents need a way to guide their kids toward something that interests them and fits who they are, even if it's nothing like what their parents do.

This isn't a perfect science. It's an exercise to open your mind. I hope it helps.
